Under the "Love Pink Ribbon Breast Care” and collaboration with Shubila Ruth Kikoko, Ph.D Researcher of Wuhan University of Technology, a group of foreigner friends from Morocco, Tanzania, Ukraine, Costa Rica, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Maldives and so on came to Wuhan Renai Hospital for breast cancer screening on 26th October 2017.
Shubila Ruth, our friend from Tanzania, is also teaching at Wuhan University of Technology. She published a book July last year called Incubated in China, talking about her mother’s experience and fight against breast cancer, which has inspired a lot people.
“After my mother got breast cancer, I saw how hard she fought. Through this book, I want to tell all the people to never give up, keep on fighting, be optimistic and complain less…" says Shubila Ruth. Although her mother gave a good fight with breast cancer she passed on at last. This has played a big role in Shubila’s life and she began to pay more attention to her living habits, and try to motivate her friends and community about the prevention and treatment of breast cancer.
